Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Knife for chopping veggies
  • Measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 1 small carrot finely chopped
  • A handful of fresh spinach chopped
  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds ensure they are safe and unseasoned
  • A tiny splash of water just to moisten

Instructions

  • Wash Your Veggies: Always start by washing your veggies thoroughly. We don't want any unwanted chemicals or dirt in our medley!
  • Chop Chop: Take that small carrot and chop it up into teeny-tiny pieces. Remember, our hamster friends have little mouths, so we need to make everything bite-sized.
  • Leafy Love: Next, chop up a handful of spinach. Spinach is great for hamsters, but we don't want to overdo it, so just a little will do.
  • Mix and Sprinkle: In your mixing bowl, gently toss together the chopped carrots and spinach. Add a tiny splash of water – just enough to moisten the mix.
  • Sesame Topping: Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the mix. Remember, we're just using a smidgen to add a bit of crunch.
  • Serve with Care: Serve a small portion to your hamster. Watch as they enjoy your lovingly prepared treat!
  • Storage: If you have leftovers, you can store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours. But it's best fresh, sweetie!

Notes

SnuggleTips:

  • Always introduce new foods to your hamster's diet slowly to make sure they don't have any adverse reactions.
  • Portion control is key – this is a treat, not a meal replacement.
  • Feel free to substitute any veggies you know your hamster loves. Just ensure they are safe for their diet.
