Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp unsalted, raw, and finely chopped almonds ensure they are hamster safe
  • 1 tbsp unsalted, raw, and finely chopped walnuts ensure they are hamster safe
  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds hamster safe variety
  • 1 tsp ground flaxseeds
  • 2 tsp oats
  • A tiny pinch of cinnamon for a hint of flavor
  • 1-2 tsp water to bind the mixture

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to a low temperature of 150°F (65°C).
  • Mix the dry ingredients: In a mixing bowl, lovingly combine the chopped almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, ground flaxseeds, oats, and a pinch of cinnamon.
  • Add water: Gradually add water, just enough to bring the mixture together so that it holds shape when pressed between your fingers.
  • Form the nibbles: Using clean hands, form the mixture into small, bite-sized pieces that are just perfect for those tiny paws to hold.
  • Prepare the baking sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and place the formed nibbles on it, giving each a little space to breathe.
  • Bake with love: Bake the nibbles in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, until they turn slightly golden and crispy. The low temperature ensures that the nuts and seeds retain their nutritious value.
