Ingredients
- 1 tsp dried organic rose petals ensure they're pesticide-free
- 2 cups water
- A pinch of dried chamomile optional for added relaxation
Instructions
- Prepare the Rose Petals: Ensure the rose petals are thoroughly dried and free from any pesticides or chemicals. Remember, our little whisker-twitchers are sensitive creatures!
- Boil the Water: In a teapot or small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
- Add Rose Petals: Once boiling, add the dried rose petals and the optional chamomile.
- Simmer: Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
- Cool & Strain: Remove from heat and allow it to cool to room temperature. Strain the tea to remove the petals.
- Serve with Care: Pour a little into your hamster's dish. It's vital to ensure the tea is room temperature before serving. Any leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Warm to room temperature before serving again.
